I am running Moodle 3.6.5 on LAMP, PHP 7.0
My problem relates to which php.ini file Moodle is using. I have tried putting php.ini files in my Moodle directory, and in the domain root, but it continues to read a higher level php.ini file according to php info within Moodle:
|Configuration File (php.ini) Path||/opt/cpanel/ea-php70/root/etc|
I cannot edit this php.ini file for it requires root access. Most applications use a local php.ini file when one is present, but this version of Moodle does not.
How can I change the configuration of Moodle to read a local php.ini instead of a very high level one?
