How do I remove participants from my course but keep them enrolled so that I can add them back when I want them to view it and it is ready?

I do not want to just hide my course in general as I need certain students who are enrolled to still see this.

Have you considered "suspending" their enrollment?

I have yes, however, would that mean going through each individual student (as we have quite a few!) and will they get a notification that they have been suspended?
