I just deleted a chapter without realizing that I was also deleting a sub-chapter full of content. Is there anyway to undo this mistake?

Regarding your query. There is a way you can restore information but you will need the backup file of the information. This way you can reupload the content.
This is the only way to retrieve content regarding a chapter. There may be other ways but I have not yet come across this.
