The institution I work for is migrating from its own LMS to Moodle, but I'm lost with one project requirement.
Our LMS today aggregates the subjects by class (being a class a group of students), and allows you to generate reports (grades, etc.) for the class including information from all subjects. In addition, there is a home for the class that adds forums, a calendar, etc.
The solution I see in other institutions to organize the courses is just the use of categories, but that doesn't meet the needs.
From what I've seen, this class format is more like a course in Moodle, so I thought I'd create a course format, and add session options to differentiate the levels (subject and study unit) and be able to appoint a teacher responsible for that topic.
Has anyone ever implemented any customization like this?
