I am trying to make sure that a plugin, MooTyper, will work with the current master branch code that is to become Moodle 3.8.
With debugging set to Developer, the plugin loads without any of the styles from the file, styles.css, showing and without giving any debug message. There is some inline styling, which is rendered, but none of the plugins, onscreen keyboard display, rendering works. The same thing happens with both Boost and Classic themes.
In a course with a MooTyper activity, using Firefox when I right click and pick Inspect Element then switch to the Styles tab, I see a message, Style sheet could not be loaded.
With the Classic theme, if I go to the front page of Moodle the message is different. Style sheet could not be loaded. https://domainname/moodle38/theme/styles.php/classic/1572021565_1/editor. When using Boost the front page message is just, Style sheet could not be loaded.
While using the Styles tab, I can select, Import and append an existing style sheet to the document, and pick the normal styles.php file and the plugin renders and works as expected, as long as I stay on the current page. If I leave the page, I have to import the styles.php file again.
Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do, or look for?
