Hi guys,

I wonder how can I manage blocks in order to have one in French and an other in English acccording to the user language preferences.

Can do you work with multi languages and blocks ?

Thanks for you help.

Hi Claudie,

What do you want to achieve exactly?

If French is a good option for you, perhaps you'd better post in Moodle en français clin d’œil

Thank you for your answer.
There are some block contents (html) on the Home page.
As we use the Moodle site in French and English, I need to translate these block contents according the user preferences.
How can I handle this please ?

Certainly that the Multi-language content filter could be a good solution for this, having the two strings in the same block.

I was about to tell you about the restriction by language plugin, but blocks don't support restrictions. It can be an option for ressources/activities.
