LMSs are incorporating Learning Analytics tools into their core but the uptake by institutions and lecturers is lagging. If we want to convince educators to use analytics tools, we need good stories - not graphs.
At Meital/IUCEL (the Israeli Inter-University Center for E-learning https://meital.iucc.ac.il/en/home-3-2/), we’re organising a symposium on “Learning Analytics: From Theory to Practice”. At this event, we intend to share success stories from institutions around the world, and analyse them to identify common challenges and solutions. The event will be webcast live and recorded, and the outputs will be shared under a CC-BY licence.
