Can templates be set per user ?

hi,

in the template seting page, i can find a way to manage many ones.

i need a template for teacher user and another for student users.

How can i do that ?

thank you for your reply.

i need a feature where students and teacher can fill the same line (single) in the same database but with different field and common fields too.

it's been months since i'm searching for a feature in moodle and i can't manage to find one.

i tried custom profile fields, database activity, dataform activity, nothing respond to my need....

How can it be possible Moodle not have this feature somewhere ?

When the ability to process filters in the database template pages lands (hopefully in 3.8), it will be possible use the FilterCodes plugin or the FilterRole code to show/hide fields on the edit/view templates for different user roles - see/vote for MDL-17223 and MDL-58680
