Ok, I am new to moodle. But I have to say... the user experience is so bizarrely designed. Maybe this is a drupal limitation.
But here is what I notice:
- When a user goes to my main course page they see a lits of courses - ok, normal
- Then a user clicks a course - they are not taken to course description, instread thet see button for login as guest
- Ok, now they click that button and they see a huge header "Enrollment Options" and under that a course description. Pretty weird for average user...
- Then under course description they see
This course requires a payment for entry.
Cost: USD 200.00
Log in to the site
That is just weird! You know what I mean? Someone has to log in to see a purchase button?
Seriously, from user experinece perspective this is almost like giving someone chocolate chip cookies with halluicinagenic mushrooms and then asking them to buy multi destination airplan tickets.
Am I mssing somethng? Is there a button in admin that says "Force Rational User Experience"?
Am I going to have to recode the heck out of moodle to get a purchase experience that matches what people expect today based on their purhase expeiences elsehwere? Or am I going to be stuck with an LMS that tries too much to be a drupal nightmare of users, roles, permissions...
