I really like the style and options of H5P's plugin and activities, but I was reading that someone could link answers to H5P quizzes, etc., could be tracked like other activities for each student/user. I was wondering how to do this?
in order to track H5P activities, you have to install the H5P plugin in Moodle. If you embed the content created with the H5P authoring tool, the activity is not tracked. With the H5P plugin, any activity created from there is included in any type of reports, such as activity report or gradebook.
Thank you for the reply.
I do have the plugin installed. I would like to use the Course Presentation activity since I can include many other H5P activities in there. I am not very familiar with how activity tracking works in Moodle yet, but if a student did some activities in that course presentation, would their results be recorded somewhere? Could you direct in to where I could find their answers? I am building a training application, so their grades are not as important as understanding the answers they give (so we can improve on it). Thank you so much for help.
now I understand your question better . It's a good question. I've never tracked the results on an H5P activity, only the participation and completion. But I guess if you poke around Users>Reports, you'd be able to see the answers a user entered. Or maybe also using the gradebook? Sorry that I cannot help more.
Entering the h5P activity from the gradebook (instead of from the course page) will show the teacher an overview of how the students have done. Not sure if it shows answers or not, but check it out and let us know what you see
I finally managed to figure it out. Moodle's documentation talks about a gradebook setup by going to grades in administration, but it is not there (I'm using Moodle 3.7). What I did find is that there is a Grades button the sidebar AFTER selecting the course. As an admin, I was able to see all the H5P results and answers from each user. That's exactly what I was looking for.
Yes, of course.
