Currently I am creating a quiz for a mathematics course. I am using a multiple choice question. I want student to choose one equation.
I am able to insert the equation properly since I use Atto editor but when the options are displayed to the students they seem to be displayed as simple plain text. Is there any method to make that equation display like an image...

The most likely solution to this is that the Tex notation or MathJax filters are not enabled, either for the course or the whole Moodle site.
To check the course, click the edit cog and select Filters and see if MathJax and TeX notation are On.
To check the site, click Site administration > Plugins > Filters > Manage filter and see if MathJax and TeX notation are On.
