we have been running sites of Moodle for some year now. Although we run across with other LMS as well, our faith remains with Moodle. But some things still are missing.
As far as the backup is concerned i believe that Moodle at some point should provide some sort of Incremental Backups for Site and Courses with point in time restoration.
What we currently do is to run Site Backups daily (DB, Core files and moodledata) in most of our sites and in some we also perform Course backups. But this is not an actual logical backup.
I presume that lots of other admins face the same issue. I believe that a more sophisticated logical backup should be implemented to really make Moodle an incomparable System.
Does anyone else share my opinion? Does anyone else has already developed a solution like this?
If yes, then i am very keen to work with it.
