Does Moodle have plugin or built-in feature to achieve the following:

Instead of cutting and pasting the text into the document, the author could reference the specific starting and stopping locations in the existing document, and the content from that existing document will be rendered dynamically in the new document whenever the new document is rendered.  

In other words, once a parent-document is rendered (edited), its impact is reflected in multiple child-documents.

This functionality is currently available as the open-source Xanadu Transquoter (see http://transliterature.org/transquoter/).
