Hi guys,

I have a real issue here, and it's driving me nuts.

I'm using the standard default theme, so no special setup.

When I create a book, or just try to embed an image into a topic block, for some weird and wonderful reason only known to Moodle itself, it clips off a section of the bottom of the image!

Size etc. seem to make absolutely no difference either: I'm stumped. sad

Any ideas?

I have now reported this as a bug.

Something odd, but I am not sure what. I downloaded your image to try and when I checked it on my computer it had the bottom missing before I even uploaded it. I am going to attach an image and I believe it is not clipped...

Now that is odd because I have uploaded here the original image, which, on my PC is entire, and, as you see here is also entire.

Hi Mary,

I think I may have found a clue. The image(s) you see here are embedded in two different ways. The one that is clipped, is taken from a data repository, in this case OwnCloud. Although I told Moodle to make a copy of the image, and not link it, it seems that for some wierd and wonderful reason that with some images it clips them, others not. I would have to start looking at file types such as JPG or BMP or PNG, for example.

The second image which is as you can see is a complete image, that was uploaded directly from my PC.
