Hello fellow Moodlers
I'm trying to set up a forum RSS feed to use with the RSS block for advertising news and events, and would ideally like to be able to schedule posts to display at certain times. Unfortunately the timed posts still seem to be showing up in the feed even once they've expired; can anyone tell me if this is expected behaviour or a bug? If it is then I'll have to rethink this approach. I've tried purging Moodle and browser caches as per another post I found but that doesn't seem to work (I also noticed the published time in the feed doesn't seem to take into account DST/timezone settings). We're on version 3.6.4.
Also, it's frustrating that the author is included in the description; it would be useful to have this as an option within the forum settings so it can be turned off.
Any thoughts/comments/tricks would be greatly appreciated.
