Thank you for this new release of Adaptable (based on Boost).

Couple of things I want to mention and perhaps if you could advise or give further notes

1. The menu at the Top Header does not display any icon for the Dashboard Link:

I have seen a couple things with this new upgrade:

1. The tabs of the profile seem to go off of the link color, instead of the site main color/header color

2. The default buttons (add new course, check for updates, etc) all seem to be coming in as strange colors now.  I have looked up the hex codes for these and can not find anywhere in the settings to change them.  This is a change from the old version.

3.  The search box in the header Is not able to be disabled/have its padding adjusted in this new version.  I saw the settings that seemed to be able to, but they did not do anything.

4. The site header highlighting is now no longer centered (for links to site home, dashboard, etc)

Hello.

I wonder if somebody could explain how I can either remove, or hide, the "This course" from the nav bar please?

I have tried for five hours now to try to get rid of it, including adding custom css to hide it (that I found in previous threads) but I'm at my wits end!  It links to stuff I don't want people to see.

Question about translation :

I try to translate the missing string into french for your last version. I have one problem on a string "enableeditprofile" that appears in the profile of a user. But I think that in the code this string is called "editprofile". So it's not possible to translate it.

I am using Adaptable 2.1.0 on Moodle 3.6.5 on LAMP. 

Is there a way to adjust the style of the categories pages? When I link from a marketing block to a category page it provides a simple text list, in a small font, of all courses in that category. We would like to expand all the courses to display the course description by default when a category is viewed. Basically we would like to activate the "i" "summary" link for all courses listed in a category.

We are using categories to group courses by language. We currently have courses in English, Spanish, French, Polish and Portuguese. For new users browsing available courses before they register, their language category page acts very much like a front page for them. 

I attach a screen shot of how the category page is currently displayed.

Hi everyone,

I just started using this theme as Essential has been discontinued for Moodle 3.7

Moodle version: 3.7.2

Adaptable: 2.1.1

I have the following issues with the theme:

1. Login page - the form for the log-in on PC's is aligned all the way to the left

2. My logo is 500x80 - when it's uploaded in this size it is shrinked as i see that maximum width is 200. How can i change the width allowance for the theme?

3. Logo OR site title doesn't show up at all on the mobile (not the app) version

4. On mobile - When menu is expanded on the right side, it is displayed behind the course layouts

5. How can i change that on tiles overlay option, when overlay happens, there is no course name displayed on the top of the overlay? Also, the course name is not centered.

Btw, theme looks amazing 

Bug report: Layout Builder in Firefox

The Adaptable theme uses a Layout Builder in multiple areas, such as the marketing blocks on the front page and the footer area. I have found the Layout Builder works fine in Chrome, but doesn't work in Firefox on the Mac. In Firefox you can choose a Layout Builder setting (e.g. 1, 3+3+3+3, 6+6...) and save settings, but lower on the setup page in the Check your Layout area, nothing appears. As a result you cannot put content in the chosen layout blocks. 

If I do the exact same steps in Chrome it works fine.

Good day, I want to report some issues regarding the current version of Adaptable that my college use (2.1.0).

After I tried to update the version of our Moodle from 3.6.2 to 3.7.2 and Adaptable theme to 2.1.0, I found this bug.

That dropdown button can't show the dropdown menu as expected. I tried to inspect it and found via browser's console that it's a jQuery error, like this: Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: # jquery-3.2.1.min.js:1:13370. This bug shown at every course pages, and so far as I know, the current version of Moodle (or may be Adaptable's) hides Administration block in course page, and the authorized users can only edit the course page via this button then the Administration block show up (I don't know if this is true), which is doesn't work. Our lecturers couldn't edit their course page and have been urging me to fix this ASAP.

Moreover, this kind of bug also happened on the Profile menu dropdown which makes all of our users can not log out directly from the menu (because the logout menu only displayed in the dropdown menu) and block's settings dropdown. But, confusingly, not on every page in the site that the bug shows up -it sometimes buggy and then don't. In general, most of dropdown menus in our site are messed by this bug.

Any idea what is happening? We are trying to figure it out, but we can't handle it.

Hi, I am using the adaptable with a Norwegian language pack. But I have the problem that a lot of buttons and menus does not translate, is there enn fix for that? The site looks wierd with half the Page in Norwegian and half in English.

Header Issues in theme Aadaptable 2.1.1

I am using the following:

> Version: Moodle 3.7.2+

> Version Theme: Aadaptable 2.1.1

Problem 1) How to hide the full site name??

Front page settings > Edit settings

Full site name: Site Name Example

Nota: The system does not allow the name to be empty

Problem 2) The height of the background image is smaller

Site administration > Appearance > Themes > Adaptable > Header

Background image: Size 1900x180px

Header -> Background image -> Size = 1900x180px

The height of the background image is 180 px, but it does not look complete, you can only see 87 px

Problem 3) How can I hide the search option for courses?
