I looked again at the code of the Choices. It appears that all spaces are replaced by non-breaking spaces ( ) and that the height of the lines is proportional to the height of the boxes. It is easy to replace all &nbsp with normal spaces, but I have not been able to adjust the height of lines. It seems that the developer of the question deliberately limited the choice field to a single line, I do not know why.

My efforts to adjust the html code on the user side, so that the choices accept paragraphs, seem to have failed. However, I think the server-side PHP code could perhaps be modified without too much difficulty.
