Course default settings to be visible

Hi All,

I am using Moodle 3.4

I have incorporated the webservices to create courses, while the creation is successful, the course are created 'hidden' by default. At the same time, my course default settings are to 'show'. 

Is there other settings I should look at?

Pls help. Thanks.

This may not be the answer, but did you include the visibility in your api call?

“Visible” is an optional field. It’s an integer where 1 = available to student and 0 = not available.

No i did not, I was thinking the default settings at the moodle site is sufficient?

So would I - but I'm not sure whether the API honours that.
