Filtering Forum Replies?

We require students to reply to two of their peers on some of our required assignments for my course.  Aside from clicking every single individual student's created thread and tracking which students replied significantly at least twice, is there a way to filter by specific student for the entire forum, as opposed to each specific new entry?

One possibility is to use forum ratings. First, in the creation of the forum, in Ratings, pick Sum of ratings, points, maximum grade = 2. Then make each post be worth 1 point. When the instructor reads a student post, they award one point. Go to the grade book, sort by this assignment, those with 2 points, meaning two posts, are on the top.
