I have been trying to remove the links out of the emails that get sent out when replying to a forum but have had no success. I created new templates without the hrefs and tried to overwrite the renderer but I am having no luck. Does anybody know how I can make this happen? I stumbled upon a forum post (https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=201953) that seems to be what I am trying to do, but have been unsuccessful in my attempts. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, the template files that these emails use are these 2, "forum_post_emaildigestfull_htmlemail_body" and "forum_post_emaildigestfull_htmlemail".
