One last word: To avoid accidental deletion of the own account, I propose a 30-day period for potential reactivation.This is possible on Twitter, Google.mail and other systems. Why not with Moodle? I think that would not contradict the privacy guidelines. Losing your account is really a very unpleasant experience. But thanks to Howard and Mary and their nice cats, I can also see the positive side of this accident.
