Last year I was looking into moodle for our secondary school, now at the beginning of this year I have suddenly been given responsibility for our intra/extranets....so here are my questions
1. The school uses Smart Login for user authentication onto the school network, does anyone know if moodle can grab the login at the same time to save people loging in twice?
2. I have in mind 4 different front pages that i wish to be displayed depending on the person accessing the site - guest(extranet), juniour, senior and staff. Can moodle do this?
3. The school uses Kamar as our student management system, has anyone looked at creating links with moodle, especially a library search type block?
Apart from these questions so far moodle looks fantastic, and will allow teachers to have some control over how the intranet works and looks for their subject. Also decentralising the input seems like a fantastic idea.
