Hi

Using custom certificate, UTF-8 Japanese characters display as ??? on the pdf certificate (although preview is fine).

I could only find this thread on the topic:

But that is related to mod/certificate, not mod/customcert

I tried to change the font of the element but it didn't help.

Unfortunately no. I had to change the text to exclude non English characters.
