Help!!!!! Serious Restore Problems

Over the weekend our server hosting moodle encountered some serious errors. We configured moodle on a new server running Windows Server 2003 and IIS. The mysql database has been restored along with all of the classes  (around 100 of them). Everything has been configured exactly like the other server. The problem we are experiencing is none of our students uploaded assignments have been restored. Are we missing a step in the restoration process:

  1. Extract moodle files to c:\inetpub\wwwroot and copy over config.php
  2. Copy moodledata folder to c:\moodledata (or wherever the default directory might be)
  3. Recreate MySQL database from known good backup

Is there anything I am missing? Any help, advice, or just pointing me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.

That's all you have to do, as far as I know. Are you sure your original c:\moodledata has all the files? (maybe that serious error has 'wiped' some files...).
