I was wondering if anyone can tell me if this can be done.
We have a course that works well on mobile if opened as a new window, and is awful if embedded. Many of our students will use their own device, but many others use desktops.
We want to provide an embedded experience for one group and open a new window for the other. As it is a SCORM module, I suspect (may be wrong) that we will have to set up two instances of the SCORM and advise mobile users to use one over the other.
However, how can this work in the Gradebook? Especially if they end up doing both instances?
We want them to receive say, 50% of grades for doing one version of this activity and 50% for the other activities in the course.
Can you set up the gradebook to do this, so that only one of the activities is counted toward the total?
Also, say you have a Moodle course where students complete the online and there is also a face to face session. The face to face session gives them full marks for the course (if they passed) - can you set the gradebook up so that completion of one activity gives the full mark and the other activities aren't counted?
Sorry if these answers are obvious. I've read a fair bit but I can't seem to find examples of how this is done.
