Hi,

I am using Moodle 2.7.1, and I want to create a course that will require completion of a section, in order to "open" the next section. Could you please help?

Hello Elefteria,

Version 2.7.1 is five years old. Maybe you should install a newer version.

With recent versions, in the section settings (Edit --> Edit section) and under 'Restrict access', you can set some restrictions, for example, completing quiz activities from a previous section. See https://docs.moodle.org/37/en/Restrict_access_settings#Grade ↗ for more details.
