i add a lot of new fields into the user profile; each are sorted into category.
is there a way to limit the accessibility of the category (or fields) ?
i don't wish all the staff can see/edit each of the new fields i added (some personal, some account info, some teacher info). Account staff should see only account field (or account category) by example.
There is a low feature "Who is this field visible to" which to allow us to choose which role can/cannot view the field or the category of fields.
Do you know if moodle team plan to extend this feature ? or maybe there is already a plugin which can perform that ?
The best example of what i need in permission for user profile fields is the same "permission" features like in configurable report plugin
I really hope the permission feature will come here soon...
