Some of my students have copied and pasted their work from Word into the online assignment module and only part of their work appears when viewing it as a teacher. I suspect there are some hidden codes behind this but would like to know how to fix it.

Of course I don't know what exactly your students pasted into the assignment. But you could tell them that they should hit the "Clean Word HTML" toolbar button on the editor after pasting in something from Word.
