I posted a new beta version for the "Tiles" plugin at https://moodle.org/plugins/format_tiles.
I am keen to have people test it before I upgrade it to "stable", so please take a look and let me know how you get on.
Key features in this release:
- Photo tiles - teachers can now set photographs as tile background
- Photo picker and photo library - new interface for teacher to upload and use photos
- Easy conversion of Grid format courses - photos from "Grid" will be copied in to photo tiles
- YouTube & Vimeo URL activities - now displayed as "Video" activities (not "URL")
- Animated modal windows can be used for "URL" activities (including YouTube and Vimeo video links)
- Tile fitting - improved positioning of tiles on screen load (better centred and resized)
- Administrator settings pages improved - easier to edit the site wide tile colour palette and ensure it matches your theme
- Moodle 3.7 compatibility
