Moodle Mobile and Google Docs Embedded

Moodle Mobile and Google Docs Embedded

Greetings,

One of the ways we like to design courses is to create the Lessons using Google Docs.  When they are ready we Publish the document and then use that /pub URL to Link it on the Moodle course with the settings set to EMBED.

Everything works fine until we log into the course via Moodle Mobile.  When a student opens that document it returns an error that the file does not exist.  It seems that within the embedded document the URLs have this added onto the front:

https://www.google.com/url?q=

The links work fine when clicking from the desktop, but in Moodle Mobile they return an error that appears to be from docs.google.com that says the file you have requested does not exist.

The links; however, are not to Google Documents but are to other spots on the web.

Anyone know how to fix this?

(If we embed the document with the shareable link rather than the published link they work, but only after a redirection warning which I'd also love to remove somehow).

Thanks!
