I've the problem that when I link to a .swf file and the multimedia module is activated in filters, a small preview of the swf runs automatically on the moodle page. This is sometimes useful, but sometimes annoying and not wanted!
A solution in some old posts was to just remove the multimedia plug in in "Filters" but then embedded MP3 players etc.. are not possible.
I've found that one can supply the following parameters (?w=0&h=0) after the .swf hyperlink to reduce the preview window size to zero. The new window which opens via the hyperlink is in spite of this in normal size.
This solves my problem, but I'm not sure of the logic. Shouldn't the new window also reduce to zero??
