I have the same requirement?
Were you ever able to achieve this on your certificate?
Essentially I want to print the course start date (date student starts training) and end date. I can show the end date but not the start date.

Because of Federal Regulations, I'm in need of this as well. The ability to put the time spent taking the course is available in the Moodle stats but how do we pull it and have it visible on a certificate. Has anyone done this?
