Ruth, et al.,
Ruth's screenshot looks like it is from Articulate Storyline, which is the content authoring program I'm most familiar with. I'll give several observations here (based on my understanding of how SCORM works with Moodle.):
The setting shown on the screenshot indicates SCORM will send back "Passed" or "Incomplete" to Moodle. This value will be stored in the database table, mdl_scorm_scoes_track, field cmi.core.lesson_status.
The value returned to Moodle is determined by settings in the Articulate Tracking settings (a config page not shown in Ruth's screenshot). If Tracking is on the number of slides viewed, then Passed or Incomplete is returned based on the number of slides viewed, and the numeric value stored in the Moodle grade book is 1 ((Passed) or 0 (Incomplete).
If Tracking is based by a score in a SCORM test, then the raw score of the test is also passed to Moodle and placed in the grade book instead of a 0 or 1.
I would have to look through your SCORM settings, your SCORM package and grade book to give a definitive answer. But, here are some things to look at:
- What is the maximum score on the test/quiz in the SCORM package? Also, which Articulate Result Slide is reporting the score? Are you using the correct Result Slide?
- What does your grade book show as the maximum possible score for the SCORM activity?
- Are you confusing raw score with percentage score in your Moodle settings? If the maximum raw score on the quiz is 25 points and the user received 20 points, then that is 80%. The more I think about your problem, I believe it is related to this.
I hope this helps.
