Hello, i hope you're doing well

I am new to moodle development and i want to create a new plugin for course format

I don't know exactly by what to start or what to do

could you please guide me or recommend me a good tutorial that explain step by step what to do

You can also look at some of the existing course format plugins - eg. collapsed topics, grid, etc, as well as the ones in core.

Hi,


I've started to read and do excercice of the book "Moodle 3.x developer's guide" by Ian Wild. (and Moodle dev documentation)

It's a really good book to start and give more confidence to read the code and understand it in excisting plugin.


Just be patient and don't try to do to much at once. Modify also existing plugoin and don't do it in PRODUCTION !
