I created a set of SCORM packages for online training purposes, using Captivate 2017. Each file is a series of slides, and each slide has a .wav file that I imported and dropped on the page. The .wav files were created using Audition 2109. Using the same programs and processes, I published these packages as swf/html files, and the audio played without any issues. This year, I’m attempting to publish them as HTML5. The audio plays in Captivate Preview, but when I upload them as SCORM files to Moodle, the audio only plays on the first slide in Chrome, and not at all in IE. I unchecked AutoPlay under Start and Stop before publishing, and I have tried every combination of publishing settings but have not found a resolution. When I publish the same file as SWF/HTML5, the audio plays perfectly. Is there a secret to publishing as HTML5?
I unpackaged one of the files in Moodle, and found the ar folder with all the audio files in it. The audio files had converted to mp3.
This doesn't seem to be a Captivate issue. I not only had audio when I previewed the files in Captivate, I was also able to hear audio when I published the files to Adobe SCORM Cloud.
We're running Moodle 3.6.3.
