Hi, so I now have a problem where by, in the Social Format, the Add a new discussion topic button is visible to Guests in the course site but disappears when enrolled as a Student.
For the life of the me I cant seem to figure out the permissions.
Both Students and Guests have
/mod/forum:startdiscussion set to Prevent and /mod/forum:addnews set to Prevent
Guest Access is turned on. Guests are able to view discussions but even when this is turned off the button still appears.
Any ideas? This is driving me insane..
