Hello everyone, in the last three weeks or so, my moodle site has been registering the same ip address (220.127.116.11) for all users, regardless of their location. Just wondering if anybody is experiencing this issue. Below is an image of three users logging in from different locations but their ip address is the same.
Do a whois on that IP from your server?
Where do you host? Is your server a dedicated server or on shared hosting?
Do you have any known protections provider might have turned on recently (dedicated or shared hosting)?
With literally millions of sites on Internet and almost as many hosting providers, difficult for anyone to say if your server is experiencing issues ... or if it's the 'new normal' for where you host.

Do you have multiple web servers behind a load-balancer or reverse proxy of some sort? If so, what is the IP address of that?
Normally, in this sort of set-up, the thing forwarding traffic adds a HTTP header like X-Forwarded-For which contains the real client iP. Somewhere in the Moodle admin settings is a setting to tell it to get the IP address from there.
Thank you both for your reply. I changed the Logged IP address source to HTTP_CLIENT, REMOTE_ADDR and all is well again.
