I am the Moodle Admin for my small community college in Oregon. But really I am a chemistry instructor with zero coding skills.
I am hoping you all could answer a question for me.
I have an instructor wanting to use a Cengage integration into our Moodle. I have never allowed these types of integrations for fear that the publisher would somehow, thru the integration, gain access to our Moodle DBase.
Am I just being overly cautious? Is there any risk?
The integration can read and write to at least some part of the DBase as it get student information from this class and writes back grades to the DBase.
What is to stop the integration software from looking at our entire DBase?
Thanks for your help.
