Apologies for the delay. I am currently taking a sabbatical from my role as Digital Education Advisor at UCL.
I have not explicitly tested glossary links in Moodle, so cannot give a definitive answer about this. I haven't come across any issues with this so far, but it doesn't mean they don't cause issues.
I would suggest testing this yourself in several ways:
- a quick check to make sure you can navigate to the definition and close it again only using the keyboard. Many visually impaired and blind screen reader users will be accessing web pages using only the keyboard.
- you can also use the Wave accessibility tool (https://wave.webaim.org/
) to see what accessibility issues it finds on the page in question. I think the browser plugin will work best with Moodle, since you will probably have to log in to gain access to the page.
