I'm looking to backup all the Moodle courses with all the user data in each one at the end of the academic year. Too big a job to do manually. Too big generally for the built in tool to do in a timely manner.
Currently we are on Moodle 3.5.
PHP version 7.2
We are using Microsoft SQL and Windows Server 2016 (a 64 bit OS) and IIS.
Previously we were on Ubuntu and made use of MOOSH. Everything I've just read is kind of making me think it is not going to work in this environment. I'm not particularly good at Linux so I could be mis understanding. I have't tried it yet, but if we think it will work I will give it a go.
Has anyone successfully used MOOSH on a similar set up, I realise it is unlikely to be exactly the same.
Can anyone suggest another tool or way of doing a backup of every course inc user data, more easy for a Windows user to install / manhandle?
