I am just in the process of upgrading our Moodle and also just found out we will be looking to use SAML for SSO in the very near future. As far as plugins go, it looks like SAML2 https://moodle.org/plugins/pluginversions.php?plugin=auth_saml2 might be the best supported option but I don't see any indication that it has been tested with 3.6 yet.
Hoping to hear back from anyone that might know? We need to decide on our upgrade version ASAP so we will go with 3.5 if 3.6 is not yet supported.
