I have a hyperlink in my chapter which redirects to another chapter in the same book. But on clicking it, it takes me to first chapter everytime.

Moodle version? OS, PHP and MySQL versions?
Your screenshot shows localhost in the address bar but the hyperlink is to an external web address.
The hyperlink goes to Chapter26... what is the url of the page that you’re linking from?
And the error message is very clear that Cordova is not available on your server.

Moodle version - 3.6.0
The screenshot I shared is from Desktop view of the app. Sharing the mobile view also.
Here, cordova is being loaded. Even then its not redirecting to chapter 26 of the same book.
In browser its working fine.
Should I share the debug apk for testing?

Can you answer the first three questions in my earlier reply?
Also, does it work as expected when you view the site in a desktop browser? If this is a mobile-specific problem, you’re in the wrong forum.

PHP version: 5.6.30
OS - Linux
Moodle - 3.6.0.
I am checking this on Moodle Mobile ionic App but data is all loaded from the moodle desktop version - courses.tefl.ie .
If this is not the right forum, then can you please guide me?

Strange - Moodle 3.6 requires PHP 7.0 and MySQL 5.6 but your site is obviously working to sone extent.
So... again... is the Book working as expected when you view the site in a desktop browser?
If not, we need to dig deeper. If it is, then it’s not really a problem with the Book activity and you may get more specific help in the Mobile forum.
