Apologies, I know this forum is meant to be for mathematics tools and my question is more about LTI. I'm reposting here specifically to grab the attention of Chris as I believe Chris has a similar STACK->Blackboard setup to what I am in the process of launching at the University of Manchester. (Colin Steele and Neils Walet have been supporting me with this effort.)
- Chris, I was wondering if you could confirm that the behaviour of grade syncing from (STACK) quizzes in moodle to Blackboard is correct as per my observations in this post.
- Secondly, at Manchester I've reduced the grade sync time down from every 30 mins to every 5 mins. What is the sync time as the University of Edinburgh and if greater than 5 mins, do you think a 5 min sync period could lead to performance issues as we scale up?
- Finally, we've done quite a bit of performance testing work and pushed STACK to run with 176 peak concurrent users and this provided good performance (<2 second 90th
percentile response time, even at peak concurrency following a synchronisation
point e.g. providing a password to a room of students). What is the largest cohort size you run STACK tests with at Edinburgh where the users are completing the tests within a short time frame e.g. a 30 min test.
Apologies in advance for deviating away from the main point of this forum, although my questions all relate to a new improved STACK service I'm about to launch.
