I'm using Moodle 3.6.2.
I've noticed that in the creation of new quiz questions (of just about any type), the combined feedback options are populated by default strings based on the author's currently set language. While this is helpful if your system only has one language, it is annoying for systems with multiple languages. My example is that I have German content creators, writing their questions in English, but not opening the feedback options to change/set them. So I have a bunch of questions written in English that provide German feedback.
I think a nice solution would be to leave those properties blank by default, and then when rendering the attempt review page, insert the default string for empty feedback properties. I'm assuming that default string is available in most languages. But because it gets hard-coded to the question, to make it multilingual, I'd have to go into each question and copy a long string tagged in several languages. (And then update all of those when adding a new language.)
Any ideas or help is welcome.
