Hi, No one in my course is able to see a video I have used. For some reason, this video now has Privacy Badger come up when you try to view it. All the other videos on the course look fine. I'm aware that Privacy Badger is a Chrome and Firefox plugin and have previously advised one student to disable this plugin, but now all my students are having the same problem. Any help here would be great. Thank you.
Wayne, when you say other videos, what is the source of those working videos?
Privacy Badger tends to bread the websites quite often, not that I personally use it but there must be settings to ignore heuristics from a certain website.
Hi Usman, Thank you for your reply. All the videos I am using in this course are hosted at the same Vimeo account. What do you suggest?
Wayne, how do all the students have Privacy Badger? Are they working with school-imposed browsers with plugins? Privacy Badger is easy to disable, report broken sites, and so forth. I keep forgetting it's on my Chrome browser; so when things break, it takes a minute to realize PB is probably the culprit.
If you post a link to one of the videos, I'll be glad to see what Privacy Badger does to it and send you a fix.
