Moodle provides two general types of reports in Core:

Moodle does not, at this time, include a general-purpose reporting tool in Core. If you need reports other than those provided in Moodle Core, you have several options:
- Use Moodle Workplace
- Install a plugin that includes a specific report
- Write a new report in PHP using the reports API
- Use one of several flexible reporting plugins, including:
- Ad-Hoc Database Queries
- Configurable Reports
- Third party solutions like Intelliboard
