how to bulk import quiz questions in xml format?

We recently upgraded from Moodle 2.7 to 3.6. Our question bank questions became orphaned in the process. I have been downloading each question in xml format and importing it back into moodle and assigning it to a category. Is there a way to import multiple quiz questions into moodle at once?


The "drag and drop files here" area only seems to accept one xml file at a time. Zipped files are not accepted. Please advise.

You should be able to select and export a whole category of questions in XML format, rather than just one question at a time. Perhaps you could provide more detail of how you are accessing the questions, and what you mean by 'orphaned'?
