I teach multiple sections of the same course, and post resources (e.g. Urls, Files, Pages) for those courses in Moodle. I can duplicate a resource within a course, but I can't figure out how to move that to a different one. Do I have to recreate the resource from scratch twice, once in each course, or is there an easy way to do this that I'm missing?
You can use the activity backup feature - see the documentation on Activity backup
(Note that if your site admin allows for extra 'add-on' plugins there is a plugin called Sharing cart which is very popular and allows you to easily 'carry; activities around to different courses.)
