I'm building H5P content into a Moodle course. I plan to launch it as an OER onto MoodleNet. Can anyone confirm a certain (important) detail about how it will perform once another user downloads the course? Specifically, in Moodle the H5P grades of a learner are reported into the Moodle gradebook. That is a great feature. When an instructor downloads the course from MoodleNet, then installs it on a Moodle instance, will the instructor's learners be able to complete H5P activities there and see their performance in the gradebook (as with the original that I am building)? I hope so. Thanks for any comments, or for redirecting this to a different forum, if better. Jeff
Hi Jeff, welcome to the forum!
I'm delighted you're developing H5P OER content, and see that you've asked this question here and in the Moodle in English forum. You've already got an answer from Mary there, but perhaps I can answer the other questions you asked via email?
- MoodleNet shouldn't interfere with what you've got planned, as it's a place to share resources (which can then be imported/exported from Moodle Core)
- If you'd like to get involved in the next round of testing, please sign up at new.moodle.net!
Thanks, Doug. I did sign up, yes.
I would add (maybe Mary already did but I didn't see that post) that obviously the site the course is restored on would have to have the H5P module installed..
