We sell the content to multiple clients, with each client having access to certain content.
Having investigated Moodle for about a week now, I still have not been able to find out how to:
- control content access, besides using enrollment keys.
- customise the look and feel of Moodle for each client.
I would like to be able to create groups of users (a group for each client) and give that group access to a controlled set of content.
I would also like to be able to report on when each user within a group was enrolled, so that the client can be charged accordingly.
Essentially we would like to have a pool of content in a Moodle install. Then there are several groups (consisting of multiple students) which have access to certain content. Each group would have its own look and feel from the login page onwards. Is this achievable?
I don't think that our situation is unique, so would be glad to hear from people who have solved these issues in Moodle.
From what I understand of a few commercial LMSs, the above is achievable in those systems, but of course at a significant up-front price.
PS: I have posted this on the Business Uses forum, so apologies if you are reading this again, but that forum does not seem very active.
